Provides good noise insulation - a bonus!
The shade does is job great for 100% darkness. It also gives noise insulation on the window of my bedroom facing a noisy road. Another thing that I would like to mention - you'll love its power to regulate room temperature.

True Nightfall effect in the middle of the day
The honeycomb fabric practically block 100% external light when closed. Similarly, the inside bedroom light cannot seep through to the outside, giving us a privacy benefit at night without any additional lining.

Tetra insulation with these blackout cordless cellular shades
After a week of use, we can say these blackout honeycomb blinds every possible insulation: 1. They block out all visible light spectrum, 2. Heat control is superior to mini blinds, roller shades, and even drapery-like Roman blinds, 3. Most of the noise is impenetrable, 4. Seal the window against pollutants, especially smog, pollens, and dust particles. More than worth it!
